Depends on how bad he was cut off. If all done in a short time frame he could have a case. Also have been situations where a person slams on their brakes and reverses.

My dash cam will be delivered tomorrow. My wife got hit and the guy that hit her hit another car. The guy that hit both cars didn't have insurance and told the third guy to say my wife did it if he wanted his truck fixed. My wife was on the hook for everything based in witness statements when all the damage indicated that she was the victim.
Never again... it's dashcams for me from now on. FWIW I got a blackvue DR750 front and rear.

Right. There are times where the person getting rear ended is at fault. It's just generally impossible to prove unless you have visual evidence, which the dash cam would take care of.

Not related, but I drive through Br on 10 today. Eighteen wheelers hogging the shite out of the left lane. It pissed me off so bad.

I keep a wood pallet in the back of my truck for random instances like this. I just simply leave it in their windshield

I don't condone doing what he did to you, but if I'm being tailgated, you better believe I'm checking their brakes. I drive a little over the speed limit and only use the left for passing, never drive aggressively. But I don't tolerate somebody on my arse.
