I don't condone doing what he did to you, but if I'm being tailgated, you better believe I'm checking their brakes. I drive a little over the speed limit and only use the left for passing, never drive aggressively. But I don't tolerate somebody on my arse.
I just don’t understand this mindset. It reeks of small-dick, Napoleon-complex, fragile ego.
First, you don’t own the road.
Second, and more importantly, all you have to do is not look in your rear view mirror, and the tailgating is of absolute no consequence to you.
Instead you brake check somebody, unnecessarily risking a wreck.
Sad little man your are. For your own good, safety, and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and spend a little time on introspection. Be better.

I mind my own business. You can't ignore headlights that close to your arse. That style of aggressive driving is what "reeks of small-dick, Napoleon-complex, fragile ego"
Don't ride people's asses and unnecessarily risk wrecks.

I'll let a mug tailgate me all day, he ain't bothering me. Meanwhile I get the entertainment of watching his blood boil in my rear view mirror. I'll slide over when I can.
People that can't slow down a few mph for a few seconds probably aren't mentally stable enough to have the privilege to drive.

I feel like there's more to this story than what you're telling us. Did you pull out in front of him, then go slow? Just seems like that what he did wouldn't be done unless seemingly provoked.

braked and moved on with your day with the profound knowledge that there are a lot of assholes and idiots out there.

Just seems like a dumb reason to risk a wreck and the giant waste of time that goes along with it (in addition to any potential injury, etc.). What if they guy behind you doesn't have insurance? You just cost yourself money or riding around with a broke arse car for no reason.

Fair enough lol, but I meant I never go out and tailgate people, flash my lights to get them to move over, cut them off, etc. If I feel like they're being overly aggressive I'll get on my brakes.

Edit: Dash cam saved a co-worker in a very similar situation from being at fault.
She rear-ended someone and wasn't considered at fault? I've just always heard, no matter what, the person who rear ends someone is always at fault. So that's good to know. Maybe I should get a dash cam.

Light weight McCullogh Chainsaw.

I bought a dashcam awhile ago. Thankfully, never had to bring it as evidence but it's nice to have especially with a lot of drivers hit and running. As easy as it is to road rage, I try to just let it go because nothing good ever comes out of escalating it.

I break checked a camel jockey in a Rav 4 yesterday. I was cruising going 75 in the left lane passing a line of cars in the right lane on 310 yesterday morning. He was riding my arse for a few miles but I couldn’t get over because the right lane was congested and I wasn’t losing my groove in the left lane. After he wouldn’t back off I slammed on my breaks and he hit his
apparently he was holding a cup of coffee and had shite on his seat because everything went flying and he quickly pulled over to the shoulder. Dude was fcking mad as hell.

Looks like he was showing you who the alpha was in this scenario.
