The 9 million dollar office is an interesting bet. It’s a form of advertisement in and of itself.
His marketing folks probably thing that dollars in a flashy building will pay off as well as billboards, and will help him stand out in a highly saturated market.
The downside is that the impact is regional limited. It’s also immobile. Gordon and Morris (and Bart Bernard) can move billboards around.

It is indeed. But it is also something he can afford and wants. Spencer has his helicopter pilot license. He hunts...a lot.
He is apparently doing well enough in the greater BR area without having to worry about expanding out much. McKernan, on the other hand, seems to be expanding as fast as he can and I don't know that it is sustainable.

These guys are pure marketers. Clients don't and will never talk to them. G is the worst though. I've actually heard him, D & D and Spence all have monthly marketing budgets exceeding the million dollar mark. Crazy...
