It’ll end up going legal in every state. Just like it was planned. Sessions could frick up banning ice cream and it would end up protected as a right.

Being a cautious fiscal conservative is one thing. Being a social conservative who is scared of everything and has to impose his backwards views on everyone else is another. Which do you think Sessions is? The answer is obvious.

You have wayyyyyyy too much confidence in Congress giving up the immense anti-mj lobby money. It won't even get debated on the floor of either house.

You are a fricking young moron.

Guess what young buck???? All of you ignorant young liberals WILL BECOME old conservatives.

At least, those of you who have success and actually accomplish things in your lives.

Old conservatives will never die -- those with any intelligence will naturally transition as the real world enlightens you.

FFS -- read my post history, see how I have changed from my youth...... and know this..... I was the only white kid in the entire movie theater at Malcolm X. I was an indoctrinated youth before the fricking term even existed. But 20+ years of real world experience, opens your eyes to one simple fact --- frick everyone else. I will take care of myself and my family. You should try doing the same.

If you are never a young liberal --- you have no heart.
If you are never an old conservative --- you have no brain.

Fairly appropriate screen name, but I think Paint Huffer would have been better.

The synthetic, and legal, stuff is 10000x worse that the "evil drug" it's trying to imitate. It's modern day bathtub gin.

We knew this was going to happen. Goddamn these old conservatives, they need to start dying out.

What a terrible Attorney General appointment.

True, but as AG, he is tasked with enforcing laws currently on the books. Congress on the other hand, who could actually change the law, should be feeling serious heat on this.

he has complete discretion in the degree to which he enforces the law, but, yes, congress should act ...

congress might actually act if americans gave a damn about their government, but we don't ...

I don't even smoke the pot and I think the Feds have no business in telling states how to handle marijuana. They look downright grumpy and petty doing this.

I'm probably a borderline alcoholic, but never even come close to smoking pot. A) My old man would have killed me and pulled my tuition payments if I got caught, B) I was always worried about not knowing WTF I would be getting in the weed. Read up on the Ole Miss confidential informant racket. I was always terrified of getting roped into something like that:
How Mississippi Discovered the Drug War's Golden Egg.

Yeah, I forgot about the OPD and that total piece of shite Keith Davis who could have gotten multiple students killed. He also threatened to murder a kid if he didn't go into a violent drug deal. Biggest pussy who has ever lived in Oxford, and any local business should refuse to serve him.

Place some blame on lawmakers for not pushing for federal legalization.

Sessions is allowing US attorneys to enforce the laws on the books.

Change the f'n law!

And Washington, don't forget us. I'm not a pot head but it feels good living in a free society. This plant being illegal is dumb.

Sessions will lose here. Even most republicans favor legalization.

This may be his Little Big Horn
