The democrats would win in 2020 in a landslide if they nominate a young charismatic white guy who runs on congressional term limits, lobby reform, and pot legalization.

Instead of fricking around with pot, Sessions needs to do his damn job and go after Cankles and the FBI disaster.

I seriously don't know how this is possible
I know some nerdy people who have never partied a day in their life that have seen pot a lot more than this.

Bunch of pot heads in this thread

Good to see a focus on the important issues

I don't agree with Sessions on this, but it does not necessarily stop any of the states from continuing on with this. It does make it very questionable on whether they would be allowed to, though, and would be a chilling effect to more states making recreational use legal.

Sessions is expected to announce that he will rescind that memo and instead leave it to U.S. attorneys in states where the drug is legal to decide to what extent they will enforce federal laws.

Millennials Triggered! The absolute most important issue to the average millennial. I have never seen a generation of people who care so much about pot. Even the hippies did not care as much about it being legal, they just had a pair and smoked it anyway. Whocares if it is illegal, do not smoke it nor do I want too.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions plans to roll back an Obama-era policy that had allowed legal marijuana to thrive without federal intervention, Fox News confirmed Thursday.
Good. It will only lead to more people being addicted and more kids trying it.

Just don't put myself around it. I've been parties and shite where it was being smoked but people were good about doing it away from everyone

Sessions is a genius. Outlaw marijuana so people have to go back to taking "legal" drugs for pain relief. It's not like the country has an opioid epidemic or anything

This is not as bad as your OP made it sound though. Hopefully the states won't do anything, which I suspect will be the case.
That's putting a lot of faith in the us attorneys. Why rescind it if no one wants to use that power?

Sessions wants to turn the country into a fricking police state. If he had his way, a 1/5 or more of the country would be behind bars. There are some people I can say without question the world would be a better place if they just died, and that shithead Civil Forfeiture loving twat Jeff Sessions is one of them. He’s beaten Eric Holder as the worst AG ever, something I didn’t think was possible.

People don’t want to hear this but it’s the best post of the thread. I personally don’t want to live in a banana republic where the attorney General of the United States of America chooses which laws to enforce or ignore based on his own personal whims. Pot is illegal by federal law, thus Sessins has to enforce it. Period.
Now having said that, Congress should move immediately to repeal the las making pot illegal.
And furthermore, to all our progressive fiends, if it were not for he massive power liberals have concentrated in the central government at the expense of States Rights, the issue of pot being illegal now would not even be an issue.

I highly doubt Sessions instructs the fedgov to go after pot friendly states
This is more to do with the Trump Admin's efforts to fully stamp out any and all Obama Era policies.
Sessions will announce a new policy that will still support the states deciding a majijuana policy that works for them.

Don't blame Seasions, he never wavered from this stance. Blame Trump for appointing him. Or blame Trump for allowing sessions to do this.
