It’s not unbelievable. These events have rentals and multiple bands and they all have contracts.

Plus, expenses such as printing signs and banners, ordering food ingredients, ordering merchandise, etc.

At some point you have to pull the trigger or cut bait. They probably had a deadline before they lost a ton of money.

agreed but the rides and booth rentals are things that have to be set up in advance and thats a tough call. the rides have contracts where you have to pay them in full their expected income if the event gets canceled

Thank you for saying this. These dip shits have never ran or organized a festival. I've work with the JFA. There's a lot involved. There's no room for last minute decisions. It could costs them 10s of thousands of dollars waiting to see what happens later this month.
