As soon as I became a journeyman electrician I would of started to look to work for an elevator/lift company right out of the gate.

Was an industrial electrician for 8 years before becoming an elevator technician. Got my foot in the door by becoming their house electrician then transitioned over to elevator tech.

Grass is always greener on the other side. I'm sitting here wishing I had an outdoor job.

Recruited in college who says he was in the NSA. Didn’t take him seriously.
Turns out he was, in fact, a recruiter for the NSA.

Had the opportunity to go to BUDs, and passed that up.

Electrical engineering. I live in Huntsville where there are tech jobs everywhere. If I'm not going to love my job, might as well have the money and job security to go with it.

If I'd just followed my heart, I'd have gone into wildlife biology, but the job outlook is tough.

I'd first go back and beat 18 year old me senseless for a solid 15 minutes.

Then I'd work on a Dental track.

I really don't know. I don't think I would've changed much. It might be cool to work outside at some point, but I can't really complain much about being able to work from home.

Instead of going into Ad Agency account management I would have gone to the media side so that I could have made the jump into digital sales. My friend did that and after a couple years at Leo Burnett she moved to Google. Was there for about 13 years, and let me just tell you, she made some goddamn money. Moved to Pinterest and is making even more.

I finally made the move about 4 months ago but was on the Agency side for far too long. A lot of the time it's a shitty quality of life.
