Go back and change your career knowing what you know now. What would you do?

I'm 29 and have been in the machine shop/fabrication business for 9 years but it is coming to an end. I have gained a lot of experience and am grateful. Trying to decide if I should stay in this field or while still being young, branch into something else.

If you could go back in time and change your career having the knowledge and experience you have now. What would you do?

Probably wouldn’t have fricked around so much in my early 20s but wouldn’t change much else.

Let me re-phrase. Not change what you did, but the career you were in.

For example: Man I wish I wasn't a CPA for 10 years. I should have been an air traffic controller

I'd become a hot female, get some time of job with a school board or something just for the insurance and strip on the weekends (in a big city, not some small town stripper).
