I'm an electrical engineering. Make great money and work for a great company.
If i could do it all over again, i'd probably do business with a minor in finance and social media marketing. Mostly because everyone in this digital age with a company of business needs marketing. I have a small business that i market and use ad's for. Had to learn on my own which is fine. But i'm sure there are things that I don't know fully.
Companies look to use the internet and social web to market more and get their company/small business out there. Can make a lot of money being a social media marketer for companies in this age.

If that's what you want to do, I would do finance and learn statistics/analytics type deal. They mine data to know what to run

Would’ve got a job with a pension at an earlier age. Could fricking retire at 43, but noooooo, no one tells you that
I saw tv ads by the us navy. Sign up out of high school. Retire at 38.
To a nautical tune. "And when you retire, you'll only be 38."

Would have stayed home in India

I didn't get serious about career at first because I was thinking about career as military intelligence.
I took 60 hours of languages.
To do over I'd either get electrical engineering degree or b.s./rn.
Rn puts me in undergrad with mostly women. Engineering is mostly men.
I would rather do engineering.

I have no idea. Part of me wants to go back and go to Berklee and not allow a bunch of settled-down dads who never lived up to their dreams and potentials to dissuade me from going. I’ve always been a bit more boring and mature and professional than my musician peers. Could I have made a career, a real career, with music? I don’t know. Probably would have ended up like the others I know that went to Berklee - $150k in debt, no steady job, and in a skeezy apartment in their 40s.
Landing a community college teaching gig ten years ago would have been sweet. Especially in a cool city. Flexible schedule, benefits, good money.
I really don’t know anymore. All jobs kinda suck so if I could pursue a true passion for my career, I’d go for that. But then again, I’ve never had real money. Would it be better to get into engineering or something medical and pursue $100k+ but work 50 hours a week for little vacation? Am I happiest now teaching middle schoolers, with no pressure, lots of time off, at an affluent school with zero discipline issues and $54k/year?
I’m rambling because I don’t know anymore. Two years ago I could have answered this question with confidence. Maybe I’m getting old and just kinda giving up. Becoming the settled down Dad who never lived up to his dream or potential.

Cool.
I have...I don’t even know how many days. June, July. Thanksgiving week. Two weeks in December. Week in the spring. All those various holidays throughout the year. Plus I get to work at 745 and get home around 330.
No monies though.

I was only saying people in those professions making that money get plenty of time off. I get two weeks for Christmas, I worked from home Wednesday before Thanksgiving, etc, and I get 37 days of PTO.
I do work way more hours though
