Morning everyone..... We finally got a few hours of rain yesterday. As far as I can remember, thats the most we have had since last October. No shite.
Did battle after a charter trip Friday with a Snowy Egret. Little bastards try to steal my fillets at the dock when I am cleaning the catch. They just stand there beside the table waiting on me to turn my head and they grab a fillet off the table. Had a big pile of snapper fillets and one tried his luck. Like a dumbass, I instinctively swung my right hand toward him, while holding my fillet knife and jabbed the knife through my left hand.. I can't even tell you how many fish I have cleaned in my life and never cut myself once. And I did not cut myself this time, I stabbed myself.
So, I cleaned my hand with some alcohol wipes, wrapped it up and finish filling the fish for the customers. Took the boat to Boat Storage and headed to the emergency care facility where they put six stitches in my palm.
Now it's personal with these bitches
