If one makes a mistake it could cost the company a few thousand dollars. If the other makes a mistake it could cost the company billions.

No refunds, he didn’t feel bad one bit fricking his supporters over

They want about $46/hour but only want 32 hour weeks. So new yearly wages would be around $77k

Again, half right. It’s both. Although “ stopping upward class mobility “ is actually evil and the creation of an elite Ruling Class is just annoying . Both can and will destabilize a society. We are beginning to see it here in America, wouldn’t you say ? Too big to fail while small businessmen like me get bent over by the taxman? Black Democrat ladies showing up at my doorstep to inspect documents?

But, if their employer wants to maintain the same man-hours of output, they have to hire another 25% of their current workforce to make up the difference in hours. Mo money for the union; less money for the consumer’s pockets.

And? There’s a very small number of people who have the unique knowledge and skills to run those companies. The average UAW worker aren’t in that small number.

Maybe you should be more concerned with your life and less about someone else’s life.

Toyota CEO makes just under $7M a year, that's up this year from $4.5M to start 2023.

The value comes in the preciseness of engineering and quality of parts and assembly. CEO is just there to keep things moving along.

There can only be 1 CEO which makes it a unique role. You want to be paid do things the masses can't/won't

these guys aren't the elite superstars that you guys give them credit for ?

I'm not giving them much credit at all.
Not that CEOs are brilliant people, but still not many people can handle that role and again there can only effectively be 1. The scarcity of people that can do that role dictates a higher salary. I have seen many promoted that looked the part but "got opportunities to pursue other interests" within a couple yrs ( with healthy buyouts ).
What I say is the biggest joke is the "agency" argument for CEOs mMost CEO base salary is 600k to a million ( or $1) the stock/bonus comp is the Honeypot. This idea that only exec have "agency" is ridiculous. An airline pilot needs to care about and be incentivized to care about the financial success of the firm as well

Our last CEO has at least known DUIs, doesn’t really do much other than party and take stock options, any idiot that can put an airplane in the air is making money these days.

Is this supposed to mean something other than Dodge is stupid?

A line worker at GM and others gets that for doing the same task over and over. They also get benefits and pensions.

This is not a value statement but rather a statement of fact; Huge income inequality destabilizes societies.

No, what destabilizes societies is not prosecuting criminals, making excuses for their behavior and justifying it.

I mean this could be true… or not be true… it’s plenty of CEO and corporate management types who just know the right people and have failed upward

That’s something too many people
dont understand. Persistent and extreme income inequalitycan not be sustained long termby any society. That reality has been proven over time in numerous examples.
