The don't pay the guy in India the higher US wage. Do the math.

I believe you were the same poster who said Louisiana was killing your job prospects because they wanted to pay you so little.

Now it’s globalization and your job being sent to India.

Maybe it’s time to look in the mirror.

Not wanting corporate America to sell out the American people is socialism? How?
You can not want it all you want, but the only way to stop it is via extremely heavy-handed government intervention which most would label "socialism" or maybe even the c-word.

If your job can be done from home, it can be done from India and China.

Or the whole industry just moves to another country for cheaper labor. See textiles.

I promise you someone in another country is better at your job than you are. And they're cheaper. Maybe you should be worried.

Folks who were laid-off and new grads are pitted against worldwide cheaper labor. Not a good time to be looking for a job.

We outsource engineering and drafting jobs. They are less than half the price of Americans. But the Americans who are conscientious are still well worth the money. It’s the worthless MFers who are getting kicked to the curb.

Sounds like you work for a cheap company that would rather risk sending PII/PCI data offshore than paying American contractors

It was a blue collar disease in the 70s, but poor nations are developing and now their citizens are able to compete with white collar positions at lower pay.

Soon we will all be gig workers.

The opposite. Government intervening in private business for the betterment of the national welfare is Fascism not socialism.

Go to a truck stop on any of the major cross country routes (I-40, 70, 80) and tell me what you see - East Europeans/Russians, Middle Easterners, Africans (legitimate Africans), etc. Why? Companies have been importing labor by the tens of thousands to fill the supposed "driver shortage" with foreign labor that's willing to work for pennies in comparison to Americans. Companies in California, Illinois, and Ontario actually get tax breaks for importing labor so they give these guys a cdl when they can't speak English and have never driven here a day in their lives.

It's fricked up what the globalists have done to this country since Clinton started it.

Yup. And the government wants to kill a whole other industry of middle class jobs with driverless 16 wheelers.
