Even if he didn’t, HR sure in the hell did. It’s all BS, he definitely knew what was going on. If he didn’t, he should be fired. He should be fired and prosecuted either way.

I'm a rare conservative Republican that is pro-Union for this reason. Unions actually do serve a purpose. Unions wouldn't put up with hiring illegals and exploiting workers.
But look at the signs (during the day) in LA... about 25% are about local unions.
One union boss has been arrested and already broken his bond conditions.
The guy delivering the face shields this evening is a local union organizer.

I don’t remember specifics but I’ve heard stories of companies with large poorly paid workforces who have created an accountability loophole re hiring illegals. If I recall correctly they use a “third party” hiring agency to find and hire employees so the employees are not technically employed by the main company. They pay the third party for X number of employees per shift and don’t ask questions.
I don’t see how this scheme would truly protect someone if ICE was seriously investigating. But it probably served it purpose in years past when any enforcement was just for show and not to actually solve the problem.

Between the tariffs and ICE raids we wont be able to afford anything if this keeps up.....I'm not against getting rid of the illegal criminals, but leave the hard working men women alone......shite if they got rid of every single person that was here illegally but not a violent criminal, hard working, my grass would never get cut, my house would never get cleaned, my pool wouldn't get cleaned, my house wouldn't get painted at a decent price.....and so on
then think about the commercial side of the coin....manufacturing jobs would be lost, farms would suffer, home building would suffer, food plants, etc.....all would suffer and we the consumers and customers would pay the price.

I instilled a work ethic and thirst for knowledge in my children.
I would expect more from them than that.

Total BS answer. HR isn’t going to fake E-Verify unless he approves. Unless maybe he took the ostrich approach and told them he didn’t care as long as he has workers on the line. Even then he knew.
