I'm sure it's already been said, but she's mad that when her friends see you're not there, they'll know she doesn't/can't control you, therefore seeing her as being inferior. She doesn't want you there for your companionship...it's all about her displaying the fact that she is able to drag you to things you don't want to do.
That's gotta be the real reason for these dumbass excuses for gathering, right? Because girls are catty? It can't be because anyone expects guys to give shite that your baby has a gender. There's no way. Of course it does.
Go to the damn thing with her. Get drunk. Act a fool. There's your ticket to not being asked to go to the next one.
Or suck it up. Compromise. Do it for her...it's only a couple hours. I'm sure she's done shite she didn't want to but you did.
Or maybe break up with her and spend the weekend doing what you want to do.
Maybe you could go with her, but reveal your gender at the party as well?
