Tuning them up to be frigid lesbians. I knew exactly what their angle was going to be even before I clicked. The picture really says it all.

Holidays and family get-togethers are a time for yummy food, sweet traditions, funny stories, and lots and lots of love. But they could, without you even realizing it, also be a time when your daughter gets the wrong idea about consent and physical affection.

Have you ever insisted, “Uncle just got here—go give him a big hug!” or “Auntie gave you that nice toy, go give her a kiss,” when you were worried your child might not offer affection on her own? If yes, you might want to reconsider the urge to do that in the future.

Think of it this way, telling your child that she owes someone a hug either just because she hasn’t seen this person in a while or because they gave her a gift can set the stage for her questioning whether she “owes” another person any type of physical affection when they’ve bought her dinner or done something else seemingly nice for her later in life.

What in the F. We should not be raising kids to think that showing affection to their family members will result in or is somehow related to sexual assault.

Aw, c'mon. Everyone had that creepy aunt that smelled like mothballs that would say "come give me some sugar." You just held your breath and puckered up for the kiss on the cheek. Then get a coke or ice tea to wash you lips off with.

Not exactly something that should traumatize anyone for life.

Girl in the pic already looks like a snobby bitch.

Yeah, they don't seem to care about boys being encouraged to hug people.

Modern day, humorless Puritans like these virtue-signaling slunts should do the world a favor and just kill themselves.

When I was a kid and we had family functions on my dad's side, I use to complain about having to go talk to this old aunt or that old friend of my granny's.. Just because they would get me a Christmas gift.

They all were drinkers.. And when it was for a family function or some type of get together they would get blitzed. And everytime they would see me they would come hug me and kiss me on the cheek and I hated it. My dad taught me, that when they pass by me and start to talk to me, to always act like I was going to another part of the room. So I finally mastered the art of getting out of having to have a conversation with someone.

Shut up Chris. They had to tie hot dogs to your legs to even get the dogs to play with you.

Not the point. Making kids hug adults that they don’t want to hug is creepy.
