Getting the shaft from State Farm

I was involved in a minor traffic accident because someone ran into me while I was waiting to merge while in the turn lane.
The other driver has SF and they’re only offering to pay for 75% of the damages.
The wife dropped full coverage on our vehicles a few months ago. So now the 25% will all be out of pocket!

Why did the wife drop full coverage dummy

Probably shouldn't have dropped full coverage then if you're going to complain about them not fully covering the expenses.

Tell them you will see them in court.

If you are not at fault, the other insured pays. Whether you have full coverage or not does not matter. You need to ask better questions.

I don’t have full coverage either but if someone with insurance hits me and they are 100% at fault, their insurance company will be paying for 100% of the repairs.

you should definitely just accept that offer and not fight with them over it.
Not.
What is their justification for not paying the full amount? Were you partially at fault? "waiting to merge while in the turn lane" does not make a whole lot of sense...

Tell them you're only going to burn down 75% of their office.

I don’t have SF. The lady that hit me and was ticketed does.

They said I didn’t maintain control of the intersection. Wtf?
I was making a left onto the highway. I pulled out of my road and into the center lane, waiting to merge into oncoming traffic.

Get Gordon. Get it done! Isn’t your back hurting?
Posted on 11/28/18 at 12:19 pm to NatalbanyTigerFan
Lol SF can't decide they are only paying 75%
You're fricking retarded if you let them stick you with 25% of a bill that isn't your fault.

All insurance companies are shite, but State Farm is the worst of them all.

Remember that if you go to see a lawyer to see about getting what you feel you are due then you’re responsible for rising rates. The insurance company is always right, peasant!

I've heard that from several body shops. For me, GEICO has always been a breeze

Tell them all you wanted was your vehicle fixed but now you are starting to experience pain in your back that you feel needs to be checked out and since they are delaying on paying 100% for repairs you will seek further legal advice.
If you accept the 75% your are doing exactly what they strive for....making you feel like that is the only option.
