I know personally about 40 people who are older than 70 that survived covid. True story.

you want to know what you can do to speed up the end of this? If you're young and healthy, don't wear a mask - get exposed and immune. The "kill the virus with masks" idiots are the fricking worst. I want to fight them.
The point of the mask ain’t to protect you, it’s to prevent transmission from asymptomatic individuals to people who might not do well, like grandma or someone who is immunocompromised. How is this still confusing to people?

So shouldn’t the immunosuppressed folks be wearing the most badass mask they can find?

These kind of people drive the ridiculous over the top response from government. It’s quite ironic. It’s why we can’t have nice things like Sweden. The government can just make recommendations and people use common sense.

It really would be funny if someone they know dies from COVID19.
You know what would be even funnier? If no one they know dies from this.
What a fricking dumb sicko you are.

Right now it seems like old or terribly unhealthy people are driving this response.
Nothing new.

HOW I mean honestly HOW in God's name can anyone justify these states that are continuing to be shutdown? This is the most pathetic state of affairs of my lifetime.
Rep.Jim Clyburn(D):
"This is a tremendous opportunity for us to restructure things to fit our vision. "
That's how. It hasn't been about actual health concerns for some time now. Now it's about taking control of the economy and businesses.

Georgia's slowly opening back up and we'll see in the coming weeks just how well this works. Right now it seems to be going alright eventhough there's limited testing. I'm all for opening back up but you're being slightly disingenuous here

Am I any more of a sicko than people who have the mindset of "we need to get back to the way things were before the pandemic. frick taking any precautions. If people die from it then so be it"?
What's also funny is how people get mad when someone is blunt about something, but someone else can say the same exact thing is more "sympathetic" words and its okay.
Why is what I said any different that the mindset people have that no one should have to take precautions, some people will just die from it and its something we just all have to deal with?

Yes, because they don't think it would be funny for someone to die but you think it would be.

I care so infinitely little about whatever your goal is. This edgy angle you are taking is so cringe.
