Hospitals should quit being dumb and lift the visitation restriction. If you are healthy with no underlying health conditions susceptible to COVID mortality then there should be no reason I can’t visit my dying immediate family member.

Currently the $600 is supposed to go away June 31. Make it so that it doesn’t go away if you’re working before June 31

They are to protect the sick people in the hospital from unnecessary outside people. Yes it is sad you can't tell your relative good bye face to face. But that isn't n excuse to bring a bunch of potential carriers into a hospital.

This is stupidity on stilts! Of course there is a reason. The reason is that we don't want uninfected people to become infected, thus increasing the reproductivity of the virus. You might not agree with that, but it's been standard procedure for pandemics for a century.

If hospitals have nothing but covid patients maybe. Here in the real world, visitors aren't allowed to minimize exposure inside the hospital.
