Someone said in a thread about this on tRant that the “F you UGA” was in response to Georgia fans with the U-G-A chant while an injured LSU player was being tended to on the field. I was watching on TV so can’t verify how accurate that is.

If STTDB offended him, I hope he doesn’t plan to go to a game in Tuscaloosa. I would’ve said Gainesville too if the UGA-UF game wasn’t always played on a neutral site in Jacksonville

100% correct. It was after a UGA run towards the NEZ as two different Tiger players ended up under the pile. Both were still be tended to, and the UGA fans in the SEZ began the "UGA" chant. In response, the student section began chanting "frick you Georgia." Pretty shitty...you don't start a cheer while there are injured guys, regardless of their uniform color, on the field. The students, as you'd expect, responded in kind.

I had an idiot Georgia fan sitting behind me in the EU who felt the need to point out the trashiness of the students. When I assured him it was in response to the poor sportsmanship shown by his fellow UGA fans for starting a cheer while there were injured players on the filed, his response as simply, "oh."

The most odd thing about this story is we haven't had one like this in a while, have we? Seems these "stories" only pop up when team comes here as a big favorite and loses? Funny how even after multiple BAMA crushing defeats of our Tigers you haven't read about any BAMA fans being assaulted or harassed...and if there is any "rub it in your face" fan base worse than BAMA, I'm not sure who they are. Seems that would be the kind to piss off drunk, belligerent Tiger fans...and yet, never a peep from them about the mean old Tiger fans being mean to them on their walk back to their car...minding their own business.

Seems these stories only seem to happen when teams come here favored and get their arse handed to them on the field.

I think he is stretching the truth about in the stadium but outright lying about the walk to the car.

You are always going to hear people cussing in the stadium. Most times it focused toward the LSU O coordinator. STTDB is trashy but if you play the song you cant expect to police the students.

In all my years I've rarely seen over the top stuff directed at opposing fans unless one of them is being obnoxious. Outside of the stadium, almost every visitor gets tiger baited, but once again I've only seen a couple times things crossed the line outside the stadium. Almost all of those involved LSU students vs opposing fans students. Realistically, Every game day I see countless times that opposing fans are welcomed and showed great hospitality.

The moral of the whole post... don't start shite in or around Tiger stadium and you will have a good time.

Now how we are treated in Arkansans or Gainsvile, thats another story...

You'd think they could handle it considering UGA fans are notorious for being hostile assholes to visiting fans. Adults getting in strangers faces and barking at them, spitting on people, starting fights
