You have all kinds. I remember an LSU student in the late 80s started taunting and cursing an old man from MS after a game. It got physical, and the old man, who turned out to be a 65 year old retired state trooper, punched the kid out. The cops dragged the kid to jail.

A late friend was a hard core Tiger fan. When he ran into opposing fans, he would say, "Welcome to Baton Rouge. Are you folks having a good time?" It always made them smile, and sometimes led to interesting conversations. More people should be like that.

You haven't really been introduced to Death Valley properly until you get a Corn Dog pizz balloon.

Yep. I've been to most SEC venues except for a few. And the ONLY place I've seen behavior like being described in the OP is in Athens, GA. Saw a family with an elderly lady surrounded by some frat stars and talking shite to the Dad, barking in the old lady's face, etc. But even there, it was handled pretty quick by a group of people nearby.

As for the language in the stadium. Oh well, that's what happens when a lot of drunk college football fans get together. So not really much you can do about that other than grow up and not be a pussy about it.

It’s common courtesy not to use profanity in public and especially with kids and women around. This country has lost a lot of its morality and it’s disgusting. Grow up and have respect. Profanity equals lack of intelligence. Period.

That is the way I was treated by a few Georgia fans after they beat us there in 2004. There are always some fans that will take away from a visitors experience.

Ok chief. I 100% did see this. Just because it happened at your school doesn't mean I'm lying. I'm sure shite like that has happened at Auburn. Or anywhere else in the country where college kids get hammered and thousands of people come together.

frick, the old lady could have started it. I didn't see the beginning, just saw some other Georgia fans headed that way looking pretty concerned and looked over and saw it before they got there to shoo them off.

Ok, so how many of you out there saw all of these fans screaming frick Georgia and frick this and frick that? I didn't and its funny when people want something cleaned up how quickly the family of small children coincidentally always seem to be the latest victims. I call total bs on this story.

Meh, that's just too tryhard for me.

But I doubt the walk back story because even if there was a drunk heckling kids, other drunks would not take kindly.

In 2001 at the GT/uga game, a uga fan got in my grandmother’s face and barked at her while we were walking toward the stadium. My grandmother was in the middle of chemo and was wearing one of the “cancer turbins” at the time.

So yes, uga fans will get in old women’s faces and bark at them.

And let’s not forget the uga police chief talking about people pissing on opposing fans from the top of Sanford.

UGA thinks the 03 SEC game home fans acted like angels?

Well they didn't and it got very nasty before the game.

The only time I took a fan from another SEC school, A&M grad Navy squadron mate at NPA, was a few years ago. He was worried about the “hostile atmosphere”. He ends up in a fight during the game with another fan but not from LSU, another A&M grad. Too be fair, the other A&M grad deserved it, poured a drink on his head and my buddy knocked him out cold.

He left the stadium and was overly impressed with the LSU fans and loved the experience.

My(grew up in the panhandle and USNA grad) only ties to LSU are through my wife(‘05 grad) and we go back every few years. Always, enjoy it.
