It really should have paused mid flight with a voice over, Now I rekon it was at this point that the driver knew this was going to be a bad day.

Also, a Lowndes County Sheriff’s Officer was taken to the hospital and later released after being hit with debris

She’s going to fined $500 for a Failure to Move Over ticket….
In Georgia, it’s the law to move over when any responding vehicle is in a lane or on the shoulder. If you cannot move over, you are responsible to slow to a crawl until it is clear to pass the vehicle safely
Haha. I’m sure she will sue. Probably win something too….but just made me giggle that she might wake up in the hospital bed with a traffic citation sitting next to the flowers and teddy bears

To be fair to the driver, that stunt has worked in every movie/series where it’s ever been tried. Just bad luck.

Probably not in Georgia. If she is found 50% or more at fault is is barred from recovery.
That doesn’t mean that there won’t be a settlement though.

Yes, this will be an easy lawsuit. Police can block lanes in emergency situations, but this was a tow truck on the opposite side. There should’ve been traffic control set up.
