Genesis doing it by undercutting.

Where Mercedes /BMW /Audi options are packages and or Ala carte, much of it is standard with the G90.

I believe that the high score from the first 90 days would be due to the fact that the people who bought the Genesis, didn’t have as high of expectations due to the fact that they were buying a Hyundai and not a Porsche.

I don't think trying to save money is the objective of those in the market for a 100k benz or bmw.

The OT poors should just take out a second mortgage and then buy one. Problem solved!

Everytime I see one I notice the front end and the emblem and I briefly think it's a Bentley. Never fails

That's a damn good-looking car. I've driven nothing but Nissans and Hondas (cars are really just a means of getting from point A to B for me, as long as it's efficient, reliable, and has a good sound system I'm fine), but this looks nice. Maybe I'll change it up and break out of the Japanese car mold.

The more you spend the more satisfied you want to be, especially for $70-$80k.

It's not just about money, many that switched to Lexus from the Germans was about money and more importantly, reliability.

Genesis seems to offer both.

Again, this brand does not appeal to me, but I see how it will to others.

How is the resale on those?

I wish these car companies would not separate their brands for warranty work. In other words if I owned a Genesis I wish the more convenient to me Hyundai dealer could do the warranty work too.

I sure hope we are putting tariffs on those Korean cars.

Now that Europe has fallen in line, I’m about to start buying Audi’s and BMW’s.

I mean i get why Genesis would separate from Hyundai as far as warranty goes.

As far as resale goes. Genesis G80/90 seem to hold their value pretty well. Especially since Genesis has one of the best warranties in the business.

Front and side=Jaguar XF.

Rear=Mercedes.

Will be more reliable than both, but I'm still not a fan.

First, I want you to know that I upvoted you here. This is a good question. Hyundai has improved their product tremendously since the early days of production. JD Power is for initial quality?
