I have already commented on that page. I don't think it's evidence that he graduated in 1978. I think it's evidence he didn't, in that it tells us when this guy *claims* to have graduated.
The USMA class of 1978 has an alumni site, complete with a PDF that has pictures, addresses, etc. of the whole class. I posted a link to this, and he's not in it. He *is* on that site on a "donor list."
I'm 50-50% on this guy. The only thing that anyone else has posted that convinces me somewhat is the photo shoot with someone who looks like him in BDUs. The donor lists, unofficial alumni sites, LinkedIn profiles, letters of reference from Captain Derek Ponamsky, etc. can all be faked.
