Gas Prices To Hit $4 Per Gallon In California In Next 2 Weeks, GasBuddy Predicts

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – There is no relief in sight for high gas prices in California – and it looks like we’ll hit a dreaded milestone soon.
Friday, GasBuddy announced they predict prices per gallon will likely hit $4 for the first time since summer 2014. Refinery problems along the West Coast have squeezed the gasoline supply, especially as the change over to the summer blend looms. GasBuddy also notes that several California refineries are in the middle of planned maintenance.
Last year, California gas prices peaked at $3.83 per gallon.
GasBuddy predicts prices will climb to $4 per gallon in the next two weeks. The last time prices were over $4 in California was back on July 27, 2014.
Motorists are being advised to not fill up in anticipation of the price hike, however, as this could make the supply issue even worseLINK

I typically make more money in the stock market than I lose at the pump when gas goes up

Here is where every poster that has ever worked as a fire watch, pipe fitter helper or has a brother-in-law that’s a plant baw comes talk like they’re an expert in refining operations.

If John Bel has his way, we're not far behind.

Good, those backwards inbreds in California should pay more.

Keep voting in Sierra Club dipshits who are anti-oil and tax and spend Democrats who raise fuel taxes, don’t be surprised whenever fuel prices spike.

You make money off of Cali raising taxes on gas and regulations that limit refining capabilities on the west coast? How does one get into that market?

Care to elaborate on your response? Are you hoping that higher gas in CA leads to higher transportation costs in one of the country's largest agricultural producers and thus creating a possibility of higher prices on goods? Or are you investing in green transportation and maybe such high prices will speed up the process?

Gas prices in California are the result of policy. Most people vote thinking the other guy will pay, but think differently when it hits their pocketbook
