Probably the same reason timber prices are still in the toilet but finished dimensional lumber is high as giraffe pussy. The raw material hasn’t changed much but the process to get it in a usable state has drastically risen.

This may be the most profound piece of logic I have ever read on this site.

The point of the tweet was to blame price-gouging. What are they missing?

I am guessing you believe in the left wing talking point that higher gas prices are because of price gouging. Am I right?

I'm genuinely hoping someone can explain this to me like I'm 10yo...what's responsible for a nearly 50% increase in gas prices with the same oil prices?

Simple.

Quantitative Easing (QE) = Printing currency back by ZERO gold or value = 50% devaluing of the USD.

Prices of goods & services are NOT increasing. tDollar just represents approx 1/2 of its 2014 "Buying Power".

So trucking prices go up which causes delivered fuel prices to go up which causes trucking prices to go up.

Have you updated this at all? Working on an analysis of this and how baidan's policies have influenced OnG prod and prices in the US.

Im currently importing this list into excel and will add data along with it. (links, second-order impacts, correlated gas price, and production activity.)

Additionally, I'd like to find a database for lease requests if possible. Biden admin has approved a lot of leases, undoubtedly as a response to the disparate impacts the rest of their policies have caused, although I cannot prove this (im ret4rd3d).
