Did any other kids/families come forward with accusations against the perp?

I was referred to a counselor for PTSD. His conclusion was nah, you don't have it BECAUSE you've talked about it openly for years.

So, nothing at all weird here.

Jeff confessed to molesting 2 other boys. So the police informed their parents but they didn't come forward. And I am fine with that. One is a doctor.

A few months ago I ran into his mother. It was her house we were going to check to see if the carpet had arrived. They were having a house built and Jeff's brother had a carpet business.

They would have absolutely made his life a living hell in prison. He’s rather lucky to catch one to the dome.

Mr. Gary used to sit behind us at the old Box from time to time. A really fine man.

To the guy that says he would have struggled in prison, you probably know better than anyone, how IRL tough was the molester? Was he a badass that could handle himself in a street fight? Or more just a guy that knew and could teach moves, but not necessarily a real fighter?

Always wonder how tough Karate instructors really are.

Had a friend and his brother flip off a guy in Monroe one time, the guy pulls over and they both jump him, turns out it was Bob Allen (Karate instructor) they said he kicked the crap out of both of them.

good guy apparently.

Pretty much a consensus on that from what I've heard - I think that really attributed to his legal outcome as well

Back then, yes.

Today, he'd get rolled up to a SNY with the rest of his ilk.

It's weird because most sexual abuse survivors are not comfortable talking about.

But thanks to ole Daddy (I don't say that in a bad way) I couldn't keep my secret hidden. I had to address it at 11 years old.

So talking about it...especially having written a book about...at age 50 is no big deal.

FWIW, I'm glad you're so comfortable with it, just for your life and dealing with that shite. That's great.

Also, random note: I know your niece (she used to teach my stepdaughters dance).
