I read recently that the average American could walk from New England to Florida and not need to stop for food.
This group could go New England to South America, but might have to buy a new pair of sandals in Texas.
No one has asked why her teachers didn't notice. At 14 she had been in school for seven or so years, that's seven home room teachers who didn't notice her eating/ not eating lunch for a year. WTH?

I've got two 6 year olds. One weighs 70 (which is pretty big for his age) and the other is 58. I cannot fathom a 14 year old who weighs HALF of what my 6 year old weighs.

you just believe anything you read?
The average person can't walk 35 miles in one day, much less 35 miles a day for 28 straight days, which is what it would take to travel that far. and then to do it without eating the whole time? that's impossible for almost anyone. The average person can barely go 28 days without eating and not starving to death when they are doing nothing, much less go that long without eating while walking 35 miles a day.
And these 4 lard asses should all be thrown in a jail cell together where they are left until all 4 die from starvation.

the only solution is to STARVE them for at least 1 year. They can outlast that year but it's a fair punishment.

I say frequently that I understand how people do things in the moment. A crying baby at 2 am really works on the psyche. Shaken baby syndrome, while unjustified, is one thing, or forgetting one in the car, whereas things like this are just straight fricking evil.
I understand that someone can do a thing that hurts a baby. But how does someone just go hurt a baby, particularly over time??
