Gals & Fellas... if your mom is still around, call her up and tell her that you love her.

I know many of you have lost your mothers. Some of you never knew them. Some of you had not so good ones.

Maybe it was your mom or grandmother. Maybe it was your sister. Maybe it’s your wife or daughter now. It could be a random stranger... or maybe you never knew that kind of influence in your life.

Maybe you’re like me and everything has been perfect to this point, but you’re suddenly tasked with the inevitable. Tell the caretakers and influencers in your life that you love them. They made you who you are.

Jesus and Mama

I call her every day after work. Always have. Call me a momma’s boy, I don’t care. She’s getting older. I only have so much time left to talk to her.

I love my Mom. I had her over yesterday to see my grandson and took her out to lunch. I usually take her to dinner/lunch on Sundays. I truly enjoy her company and can't imagine not having her as my mother. I tell her often that I love her because I do. Thanks for this thread.

My Mom will be 83 August 1st.She's way healthier than I am.Still plays Golf.

I lost my Dad when I was 28 and he was 1 month shy of 57.

I'm very grateful to still have her.

Hoss, I can’t imagine not being able to call her up at a moment’s notice. I guess it’s something that never passes. You just live life and try to get past it when it catches you, I hope.

I just found out my mom has stage 3 pancreatic cancer. I've been taking her to every appointment the last 2-3 weeks, including to Houston (where my car was broken into within an hour of being there) for a 2nd opinion. Tough road ahead to recovery for her, but I'll be with her every step of the way.

My mom is 72 and to my knowledge is still in overall good health. I love her with all my heart and cherish the time I have with her. She’s a perfect example of Christian love and she has sacrificed so much for me. Yes, I too am a mama’s boy and never ashamed to say it.

I lost my momma last week and while she lived to be almost 90 it is difficult to know she is gone now and I cannot call her anymore for advice, wisdom of just to check the "weather" OP is right ...it has been much different then when I lost my Dad 5 years ago at age 92.

My parents have been dead for many years now, but I do think about them every day for a moment. Put flowers on their graves every spring.

Cancer took my mom 7 short months ago and it has been hell everyday. I would call her everyday and tell her I love her and talk about everything. Now I feel empty when something happens in my life and I not call her anymore.
Take the time to tell her how much you love her every chance you can because when you can’t, you feel like a part of you is missing.
