We took her to Baylor's pancreatic cancer center for a 2and opinion, and they confirmed same treatment plan; chemo, then chemo/radiation, then if all goes well, whipple surgery. My mom got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 4 weeks ago. Her bilirubin levels are finally within range to start chemo. According to the medical oncologist she's diagnosed with stage 2A pancreatic cancer; the surgeon says stage 3. I just got word she starts ... I've been taking her to every appointment the last 2-3 weeks, including to Houston (where my car was broken into within an hour of being there) for a 2nd opinion.
