This country is so gay now. I hate that my ancestors moved here.

While true, Classical Liberals aren't doing themselves a favor by continuing to allow things like this, by getting out of the way and ignoring their own party....while voting for it.

I know and love many classical liberals....and most of them are outwardly in line with this kind of stuff, even if they disagree, because they are so afraid of offending someone.

It's nuts. And for that, they are basically progressives. Sadly, they have the best shot of defending the country and its ideals, but they've been silent.

The heart and soul of the Democratic Party.

Bingo. The fat cat money people are creating armies of obedient soldiers who cannot critically think to form the backbone of the revolution.

I doubt most politicians actually believe CRT, but its hella useful to further their ideology.

Now some academics and the foot soldiers have bought into this theory as fact.

True classic liberals would be alarmed at what's happening on college campuses.

Sadly these tactics will continue to be employed against the white race as a whole to gain submission. They will continue to destroy this country and everything good that is their only goal.

Hard to take people seriously when they declare that the Campus Police at Cornell is part of some "oppressive institution" keeping them down.

That sound like 1950s Mississippi with the races reversed.

Interrupting someone is rude, not racist.

This is getting insane.

That IS anti-racism. They are literally demonstrating it's tenets.

Awesome, right?

do you want whites to become racist?

because this is how you get whites to become racist.

We are talking a bunch of 20 year olds that sign up to write resolutions that don’t carry much weight.

Ignoring right vs left, anyone signing up for the gig is pretty likely to fit that description. and likely to use lunch table politics/bullying to get there. It’s student government.

Sometimes you have to wonder if the problem is seeking out the headline to be upset about - student government resolutions tend to track that direction in my book.

That’s the kind of behavior that pushes any race to become racist.

I know this doesn't apply to Cornell as it's private, but when are our GOP state legislatures and governors going to clean out the cesspools that are our state universities?

Just a little tweak here- Cornell is designated as the land grant institution for New York. Some parts (colleges) of the university are funded through SUNY, including the Ag School and their Veterinary program. The man credited with creating the chicken nugget was a professor at the Cornell in the agriculture school.

quote:

Firstly, get rid of tenure. Secondly, eliminate 75% of the curriculum.

It's happening, but not in the way you want it to go down. Colleges and universities are trimming tenure lines through attrition, and hiring more instructors to fill the void.

I did not attend Cornell, so idk, maybe their campus police is different.

But in college, our pd was pretty cool for the most part. Only thing they did, was give parking tickets, speeding tickets for idiot drivers, and attend the large campus events where they'll usually posted up somewhere with a plate of free food.

The city cops were the assholes who seemed to always be looking to arrest college students

But seriously, defunding the police is an idea I can never and will never get behind. Cops do frick up sometimes and shoot an Innocent person every now and then. The frequency of that happening is alot lot lot less likely than dangerous criminals committing dangerous crimes.

Fair point, would that mean that you as well can't tell white students how they are supposed to feel.

These people lack any self awareness at all. If the institutions wanted to keep them down, they wouldn't be freaking studying at freaking Cornell.
