Whenever I am looking for something on Amazon, there are always these Chinese options with weird names. It's like they are trying to make up a name that sounds like a cool, sporty, "American" type word. Like they are trying to mimic Nike, Adidas, Polo, Reebok etc.

Want some sunglasses: Jefoo, or Kaliyadi

Underwear: Eiggam

T-shirts?: KLIEGOU or Qekoma

How about a weight bench: Pasyou

Sport water bottle: Tiibo

Workout shorts: Boojoo

Interesting, I think they typically don’t use the letter “L”.

I’m pretty sure they use random alphabet soup so it doesn’t sound like anything else, kind of like pharmaceuticals brand names. Easier to get past the trademark office.

There are all kinds of funny names for tool brands:

Mrs Bad Table Saw: A mortise and tenon tool for wood working

Dogdong: Cheap hand tools sold in sets, like those kits that come with multiple cheap screwdrivers, bits and combination end wrenches made from pot metal.

NoCry: They sell a stubby ratcheting screwdriver.

Kuntec: All types of automotive tools.

KungFuKing: They sell all kinds of electrical stuff

Diyarea: Magnetic Induction heater tool. Cheap knock off of the bolt buster.

RongPro: Rafter and combination squares. Don't just be a Pro..Be a RONGPRO

I went with the KomSurf one. Has held up well for over two years.

A venerable, well-respected brand. I'm sure it's made in the same factory as the Pasyou.

Saw a YouTube video on this a while back. It is basically Chinese sellers registering their own brands, doesn’t really matter what as long as it is unique, so they can register on the Amazon Brand Registry to more easily list their products on the site.

The L is silent. It’s pronounced KreeGoo

I didn't watch this video but I assume it explains it in detail. The above is the reason for the names, the alphabet soup is a result of not wanting to pay IP attorneys to vet the name in the US. This prevents them from being taken off eBay if their name infringes on someone elses IP.

When there are 100 competing Chinese rip off products that look identical I pick the one with the most reasonable name

Also, which ever one doesn't include weird accessories
