He’s not wrong, but it’s hilarious how much Clay Travis wants to be Dave Portnoy. He’s was completely into the liberal cancel culture bullshite just a couple years ago with the Schiano to Tennessee stuff, but Portnoy started going on Fox News and made a video about the overreaction to covid, and now Clay wants a piece of the action.

I dont love clay Travis but this is just inaccurate. He's been on Covid isn't bad since the whole thing started. Portnoy was admittedly freaked out until sometime in April when the goalposts really started moving.

I didn’t get laid off because of the virus but I can tell you that job searching at this time has been made much much more difficult, and probably will cost me six figures in income over the next year or so.

How does that make a difference?
A third party said Schiano saw an instance of Sandusky’s child rape and kept quiet. That’s the extent of his “wrongdoing”: a comment by someone else without any other proof or anything else.
Clay spun that as Schiano being a part of the coverup in order to get Tennessee to rescind the offer. Virtually working to make Schiano lose his job. How is that any different than any other “cancellation,” especially this Brees shite?

Just keep in mind that in mid March cases, hospitalization and severe respiratory distress were exploding, and we had only heard of the virus for three months. There was no research. The hospitals were filling up in cities where it was spreading. People were dying quickly. We had no research.
Now we know more. This is good news. No one was "lying" before.

Clay also said that less than 1k people would die of Corona in the US, which uh, was a bit off even if you don’t buy the 110k that the count is at now.
