Thankfully, I'm not aware of any religious cult/pyramid scheme. What the hell is this? Don't want to google it bc their ads will start popping up when I log on to tigerdroppings.

In my America, you'd be allowed to beat him up if he didn't stop messing with you, with zero repercussions.

Someone in my neighborhood always tries to connect their cosmetics MLM to her husband's military service, it's cringeworthy

"thankful for those brave Americans willing to fight for our freedoms, not the least of which is non-animal tested foundation"

Then I know a bunch of high level RF people from high school who claim that it's quite literally God's gift to be able to sell these lifechanging products!

Buddy of mine runs the Cutco thing in BR and I guess maybe a few other cities now.

Is his name something like Rafael Navarro? I got roped into trying to do that crap for a couple days like 25 years ago when I was young and dumb. The dude who was running it was a flat out snake. I suppose Cutco makes a good knife, but my family and extended family is chronically middle-class and thought the idea of buying those knives was ridiculous and they laughed at me.

Two clowns tried to sell me some scheme on the damn shuttle bus at the Zurich last year. Older dudes telling me how rich they were and hardly worked. Wanted my business card so they could set up a meeting. Very persistent.

Friends Who Pimp Pyramid Schemes

Are not nearly as bad as family members that pimp pyramid schemes. If I have a friend doing it, it would be as easy as one "no thanks I'm not interested," one "if you bring this up again we are done," and then that's it.

With family it can be harder to avoid.

There is no excuse for a dude to be involved in one of these things unless you're the creator

Guys should stick to traditional scams, like whole life insurance or search engine optimization

Is it your goal to alienate people?

Well, it's more like they are alienating themselves from all their friends / family, which will mostly be replaced by other people in their MLM scheme.

Why do so many fall for this shite?

The lure of all of these schemes is basically get rich quick, so that's appealing. And outright stupidity.

I had never heard of "Team National," but it didn't take me long to see right through it.

Clicked on the "About Team National" tab on the website. This is what it said:

quote:

We enrich families and businesses by providing vehicles for growth and everyday savings while unleashing the entrepreneurial spirit with honor, integrity and character.

In 1999, total product, service & membership sales were approximately 8 million dollars. In just 5 years, the 2004 total product, service & membership sales reached $70 million dollars. 5 years later in 2009 total product, service & membership sales reached $181 million. 5 years later in 2014, the company reached total product, service and membership sales of $399 million. In 2017 Team National had consistent growth over the year prior and reached total product, service & membership sales of $719 million. As of January 2018, the number of IMDs and customers since 1997 is 513,231!

If the "about us" section of a company's website is nothing but them bragging about their revenue, that's not a good sign...

I know a top five sales person for RF. She and her family are definitely living the life. They are paid to travel the world and spend time at some of the worlds finest resorts. Her daughter is 18 and pulls in six figures a month. It's ridiculous to think about.

Not to mention that they count "service and membership sales", which are their employees, as part of revenue.

Yep.

People in financial or legal trouble that need money. People that are really gullible and/or stupid. House wives that are bored and need a sense of purpose. I could go on.
