They had their annual convention this weekend so I saw posts on Facebook about it. It’s about as religious as Joel Osteen. They pump you up and make you think God wants you to have money and be happy. I’ve got a close family member in it too but he knows not to bother me. Even his dad makes fun of him for it. He thought the family would be an easy sale but nobody bought in and it got real fast.

Several pyramids offer bmws. But it’s usually a shitty lease situation and not financially advisable.

With these schemes I never no Anyone who actually buys the product. And you were never told to actually sell product but recruit other people under you. Well if you’re always recruiting people to recruit more people who the hell actually buya the product that makes people rich?

Is it a pyramid scheme if you don't have anyone under you but make good money just selling the products?

No. Their thing is group buying. Your buying in to get discounts from like Home Depot or on insurance. And office furniture. They are trying to get you to buy a membership and then want you to sell and get people under you.

Ask for a typical due diligence financial sheet like you would for any business. you’ll hear the door shut before you finish the request....

Not really.

What makes a pyramid scheme is that the "product" is some sort of membership-based concept by which new "members" are encouraged to recruit even more new "members." And so on and so forth.

Y'all are really some insecure people. You really aren't good friends if you can't listen to them give their speech for 10 minutes to make them feel better even if you have no intention in buying. They found something that makes them happy.

Seems like an Amway rip off and Amway had an "evangelical" feel to it. I had to PR rep a company - Legacy Education Alliance (Like Trump University) I quit. Couldn't stomach it.

Its like those infomercials - if a guy is killing it in real estate, why would he take time out to sell you his secrets? HE WOULDN'T.

Surely some of you sell this shite. Is it your goal to alienate people? Why do so many fall for this shite?

My advice, set hard boundaries. Once he used your name and reached out to friends he has no other connection to, he crossed a pretty large boundary. Once you explain that he had zero business doing that, and he laughed it off, frick him friends don't do that kind of shite.

It doesn’t work that way.

I did just that for my coworker/friend. I knew what it was going into it but did it for him to get practice speaking to people for him. I told him no that night and thought it was over.

That was 8 months ago. I still get a phone call once a month from him with someone from TN on three way trying to tell me their story and sell.

I have stopped answering his calls.

Team National pyramid scheme and religious cult

So it's a pyramid scheme and religious cult?

As for as having his kids on your kids team, I wouldn't worry about that. Go have a talk with him and tell him "Look, I am not interested in what you are selling, I do not want you to associate me with anything that has to do with it. I am asking you to respect my decision. As for as our kids sake, let's not let our differences ruin things for them. We can remain civil, but again.. I am just asking you to not associate me or my family with _______________"

Give the guy a break...he's obviously just trying to make some side scratch while he waits for his Burn Lounge checks to come in.
