That's the worse.. When someone can't make a certain time and then they try to change it then whatever other times that are proposed it conflicts with someone else and then everyone is trying to figure out something..
Several years ago when everyone was together I told them from now on my mom will decide when and what time she wants to have it and if someone can't make it at that time then oh well. You can't make everyone happy.
After that there hasn't been a problem.

Frankly, I just don’t want the frickers around that much. I’m really really tired and work has been fricking nuts for months. I was really looking forward to a low key Christmas Day.

Exactly how it should be.
Grandpa had to work Christmas so makeup for that is the first event, nephew was with his dad for first event so second event is for that, and the third is due to nephew and my son needing to be together to wear their matching Pj’s for a grandma photo op. Sometimes I wish I lived far far away.
