JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A man is behind bars after allegedly shooting into multiple vehicles on Saturday outside a Jackson restaurant.
Jackson Police have announced the arrest of DeMarcus Griffin, who is being charged with three counts of shooting into occupied vehicles.
According to a news release, officers responded to the Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurant in the 400 block of Briarwood Drive, after receiving calls of shots fired.
Officers say Griffin got out of a vehicle at the front of the restaurant, had an argument with an unknown white male there, and exchanged fire.
Police identified Griffin from surveillance video at the scene, and took the suspect to Jackson Police Department headquarters.
The white male fled the scene. No people were injured.
