Power out in Denham Springs for about 12 hours. Doesn’t look like DEMCO has even started restoring. Same out as last night.

Same here in Metairie.. Looking at the outage map and I just feel for those people.. Having to go to work sucks today... The water finally went down.. There was some idiot driving around the neighborhood last night.. I just heard someone screaming and looked out and the guy ends up stalling out down the street...

Really surprised that Inniswold and JT didn’t lose power. We lose it just for even normal rain

Imagine knowing for days a hurricane is coming and not performing general maintenance on the generators that run the pumps that keep the city from flooding.
Hell I’m 200 miles inland and own 24 generators that backup my wells and aerators on the farm. They are all 30-40 years old and every one will crank and run right now I made sure yesterday just in case we lose power from TS gusts
