Yes there is. It's just down the road from the St. Amant CBD.

Bruce Katz just stated Cut Off is currently seeing 60-70 mph gusts due to the Eastern shift he projected.
I am here. Nothing over 30.
At about 3PM a friend in Morgan City was at his elderly mother's (90ish) and they were enjoying the breeze on the porch.

1.46" rain so far, highest gust around 20. Looks like we will get the first real action in about 30 mins. (Thibodaux)

Coteau Water giving New Orleans Sewerage and Water a run for their money. As soon as the ground got wet, Entergy had their usual outage and Coteau couldn’t fire up their generators. So we’re already refilling toilets with stored water and tapping our bottled stock.

Looks like a pretty significant weakening judging by the cloud tops

Everything just stopped in Mandeville. No wind. No rain. Just silence.
That means you’re in the middle of the eye. It just zoomed right up on you.

A big nothing burger for New Orleans. Thank God
A lot of things have been nothing burgers until they weren’t. So I’m saying nothing.
Just…enjoy the day off and have a drink.

He did say THC will be the official word on time/location but his justification was, and I’m paraphrasing, that you could see land inside the eye on radar. Is that how it is officially determined, once an eye wall completely passes over some area?

My parents still have power but they are on the SLECA side of the Coteau.

There are some 40 foot Cypress trees at a neighbor and they are barely moving.
