Hurricane #Francine is as powerful as ever and could be a Category 2 Hurricane right now. Despite increasing wind shear, her eye is clearing over the last, narrow puddle of seawater that remains between her and #Louisiana, and she’s likely going to make landfall at or very near her peak intensity. Regardless of Category, the extent and potential severity of her impacts have already been set in stone. Continue to heed the orders of local officials as this hazardous storm’s core begins to rake ashore.

I don't know. It really has to start NNE soon to hit that NHC track.
Being in Madisonville I don't know if I want it to pass south of me like FOX 8 has been hyping all day or for it to stick to 40 miles to my west through Walker.

Same here.
If it passes south, the Fox 8 guys will think they're gods and the NHC will have some egg on their face.

More like NNW. It's already beyond Morgan City and 50 miles from the coast.
NHC was just west of Morgan City.

It's going east of NHC track but still a long way before it goes over New Orleans.

Man. The eye on Francine is like Lisa Ann’s a-hole. All wallowed out.

The NHC just issued a brand new forecast path and, are y'all ready for this? It has the eye moving DUE NORTH then WEST of Ascension Parish and into Baton Rouge.
The famous Dr Josh Eachus just announced it on WBRZ.
I don't know how it's going to move due north from where it currently is but it feels like even the NHC is trying to troll Fradella and Katz

Sustained wind forecast dropped to 40-45mph in Nola per WWL TV just now. Gusts 50-55. That’s still enough for possible outages but no longer 65-75 forecasted.
