12z Icon who was King model during Beryl has it going from 977 to 983 before landfall. A least showing that weakening up to landfall is possible thanks to the environment.

The past couple days the knowledgeable people on here said a stronger storm would track more east and a weaker storm would track more west.

This is my guess as well. I need to fly to Atlanta on Friday and it is the most likely scenario to mess that up.
