I feel like it would be better if no one "wished" or "hoped" a storm would go anywhere.
All of the wishing and hoping don't amount to shite.

People act like someone hoping a storm will go somewhere actually has an effect.

I agree that’s this feels like Zeta.
I’m in River Ridge and the eye of Zeta passed right over my house. Power was back on the next morning.

10am. Some here say it’ll be pushed east. I’m feeling (selfishly) better here south of Lafayette.

Weve reached the fear and self preservation phase of the hurricane thread where we start attacking each other and wishing it on others
The mourning/acceptance phase will come tomorrow morning when track is more locked in and we are 6-12 hours from landfall

I’m down the road and we didn’t get power until 3 days after landfall.

To the OT weather gurus, I’m flying out of MSY today at 5:00. Do you think my flight will be affected by this storm?

10am is the next update. currently they are on a 3 hour schedule with every other update being a full update, not just a cone and advisory. 10am will be a full update.

problem is yall become pussies in these threads
What's funny is that there's a ton of regulars like me that post in these threads long before anything significant is even happening. Just a bunch of weather geeks shitposting about the weather.
Then these no name posters invade the thread and demand seriousness from the people that keep the thread alive. They can go give themselves sandpaper and Tabasco hand jobs.

"no change in impact" to the Northshore area when these are the models 2 days apart?
Because I said "in the last 24 hours".
Yesterday at this time we were looking at landfall east of Lake Charles, Cat 1 or 2. Then it jogged west, then back east and with the NHC 7am model, right back about where it was a day ago.

we're less than 24 hours away from a hurricane making landfall affecting thousands of people on this board. will everyone who is being a retard kindly stop being a retard and let real, necessary information flow?
When did you become an Iowa State fan?

In mandeville
Is this :
Put everything outside in a tight corner tied up
Or
Put everything outside and move it inside
For reference, in Ida I did the right corner outside tied up and nothing moved
