Eh, I don’t think that’s happening yet.
None of the water vapor loops show anything really getting wrapped up in the storm so far. Pockets of little to no convection at the moment (on radar) doesn’t really mean it’s dry air. This storm was kind of a mess 12 hours ago so the lack of convection isn’t really surprising so far.
I wouldn't read too much into the current sat depiction. It is common for convection to pulse down during this organizing phase.

Amos what did I miss? I thought LC was pretty in the clear .. west side and they it had moved east.

It has actually been producing pretty consistent lightning in the bands. Starting to kind of see a central swirl on visible.
