Just hear me out. She used to uber. Someone lost their watch in her car, and it wasn't worth enough to them to track it down. It died and no one noticed it between the seats until your kid found it.
You really think if she was cheating on you she and her affair partner would be dumb enough to leave his smart watch in her car?
I'm surprised I'm not going the other way on this one but I wouldn't jump to the worst case scenario here.

I think you are likely correct, but there are still some options where a guilty wife might not have been told to look for the watch. If a cheap android watch can be tracked maybe someone left it to stalk her until battery ran out, or left it hoping that another family member would find it if he wanted the husband/OP to find out about the relationship.
Even if cheap charging it back up and seeing if unlocked or if anything accessible like catching up on notifications or some type of lost mode gives more details; but I don’t know what features a “cheap” android watch would have.
If its measures and stores heart rate or activity levels the last entries might be helpful…
