It was great to watch newbies walk in and order a mixed drink and they couldn't drink it because it was too strong. The bartender would tell them just ask for a light next time and make them a new drink.

I think that is the former St. Michael's football coach Paul Varnado with a by-line in the Reveille.

We did, lol.

39 dollars for a keg, from that place behind sports or across nicholson from tigerland. I had my own tap and bucket so i never had a deposit.

Raj at Tigerland Market was still selling Natty Light kegs for under $40 in the late 90s/early 00s.

I actually thought that was high relative to the other prices in the advertisements. It was only $45-50 in the mid 2000s. Natty tall boy cases were 11.99 I think. Both from that place across Nicholson from Tigerland.

Yes, Raj. Couldn't remember. He was my second favorite convenience store owner. Fini being #1 by far of course.

Love The Bengal's special on Coor's and Coor's Lt.

Was Coors so new to the area then that they didn't know better than to put an apostrophe in it?
