Not surprising. The Army has been trying to get everyone to take it. The base I am on held a townhall for everyone who chose not to get it. They will play frick frick games with us to make us take it until they can force us to take it.

When I joined, we had to get a bunch of vaccines or prove that we’d already received them just to enlist.

Seriously. The fact the military isn’t just saying get the shot or get kicked out is the clearest sign yet the military is turning into another politically correct jobs program.
The military shouldn’t be placating anyone on this. Set the standard and enforce it. Protecting operational capacity is the only consideration.

Those damn anthrax vaccines sure weren’t voluntary. Two Marines in my platoon were admin separated for refusing the shots.
