People like this always amaze me. To have that rare combination of ambition, ability, and drive is probably the only thing that stokes my envy. This guy will undoubtedly be in the Senate in 10 years followed by a successful presidential campaign.

We have a guy in my fishing club that is like this. He doesn't have use of his legs. He works for a medical rehab facility and is currently the wheelchair rugby coach for Japan. You NEVER ask him where he's been or what he's been doing. It will make you feel worthless.

Generally speaking we need fewer incompetent fools in politics, but competent, intelligent people are very rarely interested. And who honestly wants to spend all their time campaigning and dealing with other politicians? That sounds awful.
