Coming to a Kroger parking lot near you:

I honestly think it's a step back in the styling department, but the chassis is a pleasant surprise. The proportions don't look as much like a minivan as the previous generation Explorer.

I can't decide if I like the iPad being tacked onto the dash like that.

Almost all SUVs look like mini vans to me now except the boxy ones - Tahoe, Wrangler etc.

Hopefully Ford keeps the cracked rear hatch tradition.

Yeah, it sticks out of the dash like it was an afterthought.

That really bothers me. Looks like it's going to fall off.

Looks like the only significant change they made was bolting an iPad to the center of the dash

It is now RWD (using the Mustang platform I believe)

They started a new tradition. The breaking of the plastic windshield guards.

Maybe they'll put a 5.0 coyote in one and smoke trackhawk or whatever.

A lot of cars are moving toward the iPad screen look. It started with the tack on GPS map, now its a full screen. Seems like Tesla started this.

Not a huge fan. If you’re going to buy an American made small SUV, I’d go with the Cadillac XT5 or that new Lincoln Aviator that’s coming out.

If only they could pair that with the Chevy Silverado broken tailgate latch.
