I feel like trucks are getting bigger and bigger. I saw a new Ford Ranger the other day and it looks almost as big as a early 00’s F-150 or Silverado.
I wonder how this Maverick compares size wise to a 90s Ranger.

Not a bad little truck for 20k
People love to complain for no reason. Not everyone needs a full size truck.
I think these will sell pretty well.

The average road in the deep south is clogged with massive pickup trucks that can drive over most cars in a collision.
If full size truck owners are so shite at driving that everyone else needs to live in constant fear of being hit by them, the problem is with full size truck drivers. And maybe those particular idiots should be driving something smaller.

WAIT! The Maverick is a truck now?
Also, I appreciate them providing that math lesson to show how many 40 pound bags of mulch it can carry with it's 1500lb payload capacity. Can someone who knows someone at Ford please ask them how many 500lb bags of feathers it can carry?

It may carry as much wait as 37 bags of mulch, but I really doubt you are going to get 37 bags of mulch in that truck bed.

Get used to it.

At this point just buy a hatchback car.
Believe it or not, Ford is actually going after Civic and Corolla buyers with the Maverick given that the base hybrid engine give better gas mileage than those two - basically after buyers who didn't think they needed a truck before. At least that is how Ford is selling it to the automotive press.

Where do you find these?
Is the trailer made of aluminum and carbon fiber?
