I haven't seen her, but I always see the guy with the sign asking for spare parts for his spaceship

You people act like these guys are living the high life. Have you seen how expensive heroin is these days? I doubt he’s even storing anything away for retiremen

This right here is a high-quality OT post. I started out reading it and thought frick this guy you liberal scum and then in the end realize he had trolled me. Expertly I might add. This should be mandatory reading before someone sets up a profile on the site.

I do make exceptions occasionally. The other day a guy was out in front of our Wal Mart holding up a sign it read " I'm not stuck here, I don't need gas, I don't want a job, I have food. I just need some damn beer" I bought him a sixer while I was in the store. Honesty gets me lol

I'm not going to get into the scam artist vs homeless person debate.

But I don't like the in-traffic panhandling thing at all. It's unsafe for everyone involved

His life still ducking sucks if he has to stand outside all day to get 50 fricking bucks.

With sustained 3.7% Unemployment he doesn't "have to" stand outside all day, he chooses to.

Didn't someone run a story 5 or 6 years ago saying that panhandlers can easily avg into the 6 figures even in small cities?

I need to take a picture next time I see him, but there is some fricker in a real shitty RV who drives around and parks at gas stations throughout south Baton Rouge and has some story about needing gas or being broke or whatever. He's approached me multiple times at different gas stations.

I know if I posted a picture a bunch of you frickers would recognize him and the RV.

Yeah, that SOB is off the deep end. He often sits there and plucks an electric bass guitar----not plugged in mind you, or beating on an old set of drums. Where he keeps all that crap is beyond me, but he's there almost daily since my wife sees him heading to work every morning.

There’s a halfway decent looking chick (relatively speaking) that sits out at bluebonnet and Perkins and every single time I’ve seen her there people are giving her money. She is probably raking in the cash.

Just so you know, I think you deserve way more than 3 up votes for this.

And it makes me sick to be complimenting a Bama fan on Bama week. But I guess our mutual disgust for Albern brings us together.

Nobody is starving in America.

Even our homeless are obese, assuming they aren't addicted to crack

There's about a 30-35 year old white dude that hangs out at the Exxon at the corner of Airline and Coursey. He sits in front of the store and follows people to their vehicles giving them some sob story. He's been there for months. I guess he has finally remembered me because he's stopped following me.

I had the misfortune of having to stop for gas at the Shell at the corner of College and Bennington last night around 9:00. I have never once stopped there and not had someone show up with a story of some sort, asking for money.

Last night, it was a guy with a gas can who "ran out of gas" around the corner and needed a few bucks. People are so damned unlucky that they always seem to run out of gas near that particular gas station.
