We didn't have to use pictures. It was real-time.

Y'all will never know the joy of seeing a pretty girl in class and following her to her apartment

Some of you are incredibly dramatic. Hitting on girls in bars and class didn't disappear because of tinder and bumble.

I have friends that have said the same thing. What the hell is going on?

had there been these apps back in the day.
But we did have apps back in those days, they were called "chivalry" and "manners" and "treating women with respect". And if you got really good at those apps, then girls would pass out on couches in front of you and you could touch their boobs. That's what a real college experience is about.

Guys do not get it. Every photo, they look sweaty and disgusting. Yes, we want you to be manly but show us that you do shower at times and dont live on a boat/in the woods at all times. It would be like if a man is swiping and every profile he sees, every pic is her sweating, nasty, worst version of herself. Make yourself look acceptable, people
ETA I just had to get off Bumble bc I couldn't look at it anymore. Atleast if I go out to Bulldog or somewhere, people look clean and civilized. Do not want to see another fish being held in the air for the rest of my days.

What you call stalking, pimp and I called "networking."
Hiding in the bushes comment was for humor.
Somewhat.

I was too shy to ask a girl out IRL. I would probably be too shy to swipe right or whatever the hell you do. Just being honest.

You can only contact them if you swipe right and they've swiped right on you too. So basically there's little reason to be shy because they have to have shown interest in you before you can even make a move.
And on Bumble, women have to contact the men first.

I did pretty good without all these fancy apps you kids have these days. We did it the hard way. We actually walked up and started a conversation with them

I've always been too ugly to use dating apps

Would have made it easier, not necessarily more frequent.

No way I would have graduated with an engineering degree.
